Daniel Nuchovich, MD founded Jupiter Institute of the Healing Arts in 2001.

After many years of academic and first-hand clinical exposure to patients' pain and suffering, Dr. Nuchovich realized that conventional medicine was limited. Many patients were not receiving significant relief in traditional medical practices, especially those suffering from Obesity and Chronic Pain.

After extensive research and interviews with Professors and Physicians at Harvard Medical School, Boston University and other prominent institutions where Obesity and Chronic Pain are successfully treated, Dr. Nuchovich opened Jupiter Institute of the Healing Arts in 2001.

Jupiter Institute of the Healing Arts was created to offer an effective and comprehensive approach to weight and pain management. Dr. Nuchovich believes in a team philosophy and searched for the most qualified and caring professionals to join Jupiter Institute's staff. While the most common approach in conventional medicine is to view a patient as a hurt knee or painful shoulder, the team at Jupiter Institute of the Healing Arts believes that healing is best obtained when the patient is treated as a whole.

The Institute uses a combination of Conventional and Alternative Medical techniques that have proven effective in treating chronic pain. Patients given medical care, nutritional guidance and varying combinations of chiropractic manipulation, physical therapy and acupuncture witness outstanding results - not only do their conditions improve, in most cases they become pain free. As importantly, this means pill free.

At the Jupiter Institute of the Healing Arts, weight reduction is approached with the same professional and personal insight used to treat chronic pain. The Institute offers a variety of weight loss programs that teach individuals how to lose weight while providing them with the necessary tools to keep the weight off and lead a healthy life. A team of experts including a physician, nutritionist, physical trainer, and a behaviorist assist patients in meeting their goals.
